Sillyporeans?

"Alvin, I'll meet you guys at the cafe instead of MRT station. I'm still at home," I said. "I'll take a bus down instead since I have direct bus".
"They are so right about you being late again. And where the hell is that place? I don't even know how to get there," Alvin grumbled to me.
"Are you a Singaporean? Gosh! How can you not know where the hell Clark Quay is?" I said in disbelief.

Anway, when I reached Necterie (Yes! Necterie again since my last visit which was barely a month ago ^^) all three of them were already there, Alvin, Daniel and Jo. "Are you sure these are enough for us?" Daniel complained. They were looking at the menu and the most filling thing that they served were sandwiches. I told them, people went there mainly for their cakes, not for meals. I also assured them that after a glass of drink, a bowl of soup, sandwiches and desserts, they would walk away feeling bloated. True to my words, by the time all four of us started to dig in at our cakes, we were kind of full already. The dinner was considered free since I had $100 voucher from American Express and the total bill came up to $99 only.

For the three of them, it was their first time to Clark Quay after it had its revamped many years back? I still could not believe when I first heard from them. I mean, HELLO, this is Clark Quay that we are talking about!!! Since that was the case, we toured the place a bit before heading to Mac for a drink and more chatting. We ended the night by agreeing to come out again soon, and me the one to suggest our next venue again haha... My pleasure folks!~

By the way, I did not realise that the chemistry between Alvin and Daniel is so strong? Look at the photos and you will know what I mean wahahaha... =D
